Sing, Dance & You ("SDY," "we," "us," or "our") respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains your rights under Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection ("PDP Law") of the Republic of Indonesia, and how you can exercise them, including withdrawing your consent to the processing of your data for marketing purposes.

Data We Collect

When you shop with us or interact with our platform, we may collect personal data such as:

  • Name, email address, and phone number
  • Shipping and billing address
  • Order and transaction history
  • Technical data such as IP address, device type, and browsing activity (via cookies)

Legal Basis & Purpose of Processing

We process your personal data to:

  • Process and deliver your orders
  • Provide customer service and handle returns
  • Send promotional information, catalogs, and updates (where you have consented)
  • Analyze and display relevant advertising through third-party tools such as [Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, TikTok Pixel]

Processing is carried out based on your consent and/or the performance of a contract (for example, fulfilling your order), in accordance with Article 20 of the PDP Law.

Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under the PDP Law, you have the right to:

  • Obtain information about our identity, the legal basis, purpose, and manner in which we process your data
  • Complete, update, and/or correct your personal data
  • Access and obtain a copy of your personal data
  • End the processing, delete, and/or destroy your personal data
  • Withdraw consent you previously gave to the processing of your data
  • Object to decisions made solely by automated processing, including profiling
  • Postpone or restrict the processing of your personal data
  • Claim and receive compensation for violations in the processing of your personal data
  • Use and transmit your personal data to another controller, where the systems are compatible (data portability)

Withdrawing Consent / Opting Out of Marketing

You may stop receiving marketing communications or object to the processing of your data for advertising at any time, without affecting orders already in progress. To do so:

  • Unsubscribe link at the bottom of every marketing email we send.
  • Email: send a request to cs.sdy@suneatercoven.com with the subject line "Withdrawal of Consent — Personal Data."
  • Cookie settings: update your preferences through our cookie banner or preference center at singdanceandyou.com.

To help us process your request quickly, please include the following in your email:

  • Full name (required)
  • Email address (required — so we can locate your data and confirm the request)
  • Type of request — e.g. withdraw marketing consent, access data, correct data, or delete data
  • Description (optional) — a brief explanation of your request
  • Let us know if you are submitting on behalf of someone else (as a representative)

Verifying Your Request

To protect your data, we may verify your identity before acting on a request by matching the details you provide (such as your name and email) against our records. Verification data will not be used for any other purpose. You do not need to create an account to submit a request.

Response Time

We will respond to and process your request no later than 3 × 24 hours from the date the request is received and verified. Withdrawing marketing consent does not delete your account or stop essential communications such as order confirmations.

Non-Discrimination

We will not refuse to serve you, charge you a different price, or provide a lower level of service because you exercised your privacy rights.
