Idgitaf

Singer-songwriter Idgitaf brings tender, diary-honest reflection to Indonesia's music scene. The identity of her work is emotional relatability — soft vocals and poetic, plainspoken lyrics about anxiety, healing, growing up, and making peace with yourself, the kind of songs that became a quiet soundtrack for a young generation's late-night feelings. Born Brigitta Sriulina Beru Meliala in 2001, a Universitas Indonesia graduate in Korean Language and Culture, she first went viral through parody and cover videos on TikTok during the pandemic, most famously her take on "Odading Mang Oleh." What makes Idgitaf distinctive is how she turned that internet spark into a serious body of work, citing the legendary Ebiet G. Ade as a key influence and building a low-profile, unsensational persona around raw, intimate storytelling.

Idgitaf's credibility as an artist has grown remarkably fast. Her breakthrough single "Takut," released in 2021, resonated so strongly with young listeners' overthinking and worry that it climbed the Spotify Indonesia charts, and her debut EP Semoga Sembuh earned two Anugerah Musik Indonesia nominations in 2022. She followed it with her first studio album Mengudara in 2023 and her own headlining tour across three cities, later picking up an AMI Award and scoring films with songs like "Berakhir di Aku." By the end of 2025, that steady, sincere climb had carried her past NIKI to become the most-streamed Indonesian woman on Spotify. However, Idgitaf never treats vulnerability as a gimmick — allowing her gentle voice and honest writing to keep maturing, so each new era, from "Sedia Aku Sebelum Hujan" onward, feels less like chasing a trend and more like a person growing up out loud alongside her listeners.
